This study deals with the likely impacts of differential VAT rates for specific products with recognised environmental benefits.

Waterpricing policy is - according the EU Water Framework Directive (WFD) - one of the options to improve water quality. The idea is that, by giving the correct incentives, sustainable water use can be stimulated by means of the 'the polluter pays' principle.
